Dad, when I grow up and have my own economic power, I’ll sue you. I’ll get a warrant to keep you away from me, from mom and my future family. I’m thankful for all the good things you’ve given me, so many opportunities and a good education. But you didn’t have the right to hit me. You didn’t have the right to kick the shit out of me, just because I unplugged your computer or just because I broke something. You had no right to beat my mom. You married her for God’s sake, where did your love go? You’ll die alone. I’ll make sure that my brother is safe & secure. I’ll work day and night if I have to, but I’ll save us from you. To all the people who read this, please go hug your dad if he’s been a real dad to you. Because some people out there don’t have that.
